Andie The Full Coverage Amalfi One-Piece

Forget trends and high cuts—sometimes all you want is a classic suit that’ll last summer after summer. The Andie is our pick, especially if you’re looking for coverage from top to bottom. “For days where I just want a little extra coverage, I always reach for my Andie Amalfi suit,” says Glamour reviewer Ana Lawrence. “While I love just laying out at the beach, I do consider myself a big swimmer, and this suit keeps everything secure no matter how choppy the waters are.” My BFF Kaitlin Spring also praises the cut and coverage of the top. “It feels supportive but not in that annoying way where you look like you’re wearing a bra on the beach,” she says.

Sizes: XS–XXXL | Material: Recycled nylon, spandex | Colors: 6 | Padding: Yes (removable)

Pros: Comfortable and supportive; lightly compressive; adjustable shoulder strapsCons: Only offers medium bust supportBest Postpartum: Cupshe Cutout Scallop-Trim Bathing SuitTested and reviewed by Glamour contributor Brigitt Earley

Cupshe Cutout Scallop-Trim Bathing Suit

Amazon shoppers can’t get enough of this Cupshe bestseller, and neither can Glamour contributor Brigitt Earley, who purchased this popular black one-piece postpartum after having her twins. “I wanted something that looked cute and stylish, but was forgiving enough for my post-babies body. This suit was just that, plus it offered great overall value for something I knew would be relatively temporary. It lacks compression, which isn’t great for those who want to conceal any tummy bulges, but the texture and black color do help with that. It was also easy to breastfeed in, since the fabric is flexible enough to pull to the side.” As a mom myself, I love that it doesn’t scream “mom,” thanks to the trendy knotted front with sweet scalloped trim and cool peekaboo tummy cutout.

Sizes: XS–XXL | Material: Polyester, spandex | Colors: 7 | Padding: Yes (removable)

Pros: Stretchy, textured fabric that’s so comfy; full bottom coverage; breastfeeding-friendlyCons: Lacks compression; stretches out over timeBest for Long Torso: Summersalt The Perfect Wrap One-Piece

Summersalt The Perfect Wrap One-Piece

Summersalt is known for its breezy, versatile styles, fun colors and patterns, and generous sizing, including long-torso fits. “I have a super long torso, so finding a one-piece swimsuit (or anything one-piece, for that matter) is always a challenge for me,” says Glamour contributor Jessie Quinn. “The Perfect Wrap One-Piece is one swimsuit I reach for the most because it fits so well and doesn’t tug down on my abdomen and shoulders, or give me a dreaded wedgie—plus, the wrap detail is so cute.”

Glamour tester Katherine Howell-Kiser also loves this Summersalt swimsuit. “The Perfect Wrap has thin sewn-in boob pads that don’t shift or come out in the wash, which is a big pro,” she says. “Also, you can adjust the wrap and make it tighter to achieve a more snatched look if you want.” Its butt coverage is a little cheeky, and we appreciate that the suit is mostly made of recycled material.

Sizes: 2–22 | Material: Recycled polyamide, spandex | Colors: 7 | Padding: Yes (sewn-in)

Pros: Long torso and extended sizing; adjustable fit, from the straps to the waist; pretty patternsCons: Lining of sewn-in cups sometimes shows through the suitBest for Large Busts: TA3 Squarey One-Piece Swimsuit

TA3 Squarey One-Piece Swimsuit

Glamour contributor Danielle Sinay calls this the only swimsuit she bothers wearing. “I have very large breasts (am currently a size 36F or G, for context) and never felt secure in any swimsuit I tried on unless I looked like I was going scuba diving with a team of grandmother nuns—meaning that only the most matronly and least cute options are what provided actual support. That is, until I found TA3’s square-neck suit!” she says. “It essentially functions as gorgeous shapewear with a built-in bra. Ever since getting mine (which I now have in several colors), I actually feel comfortable going to—and running on—the beach!” My friend Natasha is also obsessed with the support. “It holds them in like a sports bra without the spillage, and it isn’t too booby. I’ve had mine for three summers and lost 100 pounds, and it still fits!”

Sizes: XS–4X (up to K-cup bust sizing) | Material: Nylon, spandex | Colors: 4 | Padding: Yes (removable)

Pros: Excellent bust support; corset-style back that keeps you locked in while looking sexy; highly adjustable; wide size rangeCons: PriceyBest for Small Busts: Left on Friday Weekender SuitTested and reviewed by Glamour commerce editor Malia Griggs

Left on Friday Weekender Suit

“I feel so sexy in this swimsuit—something I don’t say often, if ever, about swimsuits,” says Glamour commerce editor Malia Griggs. “Its plunging neckline draws attention to my (smaller) boobs, but the material is lightly compressive and smoothing enough to keep them in place (as well as my tummy). I really like the crisscross and deep cut of the back as well, which pulls some attention to my butt without going overboard. Lastly, the color! I’m in love with this bright purple—it makes me look tan. The suit is so comfortable and cool that I wear it as a bodysuit—like I do in this picture.” The shoulder straps are not adjustable, but Griggs says this has never been an issue, as they stretch and hold shape. If purple isn’t your color, the Weekender comes in a rainbow of shades to suit every skin tone.

Sizes: XS–XXL | Material: Nylon, polyester, Lycra spandex | Colors: 15 | Padding: No

Pros: Smoothing material; sexy plunging neck and back; available in regular and tall sizesCons: Pricey; no bust cupsBest for Tummy Control: Miraclesuit Oceanus Tummy-Control One-Piece SwimsuitTested and reviewed by Glamour contributor Rachel Esman

Miraclesuit Madrid One-Piece Swimsuit

No one does tummy-control swimsuits better than Miraclesuit, which has built an entire brand around fashion-forward slimming swimwear that doesn’t make you feel like an old lady in a frumpy one-piece. Glamour reviewer Rachel Esman is obsessed with the Rock Solid Madrid Bandeau, which she’s owned for years. “It’s very flattering and form-fitting without looking matronly,” she says. “It’s tight but somehow hides the spots I’m self-conscious about and covers my whole butt!” (A huge perk, TBH!) This strapless suit takes 10 pounds off instantly and features underwire cups to keep the girls nice and lifted. “It’s very supportive everywhere,” says Esman.

Sizes: 8–16 | Material: Nylon, spandex | Colors: 1 | Padding: Yes (removable)

Pros: Excellent tummy control; full butt coverage; supportiveCons: Pricey; hard to get on and offBest With Tie Straps: Skays Reversible Floral One-PieceOriginal image by Glamour commerce director Brie Schwartz

Skays Reversible Floral One-Piece

You know what they say—two is better than one. Head over to Amazon’s swim section for this gorgeous one-piece that just happens to be reversible. Go for a vibrant floral print on one side or keep it minimal with a simple baby-blue-and-white palette on the other.

“I’m a sucker for all things bows, so when I saw this reversible suit on Amazon, I couldn’t resist, though I had my doubts that something only 30 bucks could be high enough quality to keep me looking snatched,” says Glamour’s commerce director, Brie Schwartz. “It really surprised me. Not only is the crazy-soft fabric thick enough to provide tummy control, but it also offers boob support, and the straps were easy to tie. Plus, it’s two suits in one. This was a big win.”

Sizes: 2-14 | Material: Nylon, spandex | Colors: 7 (14 when reversed) | Padding: No

Pros: Affordable; reversibleCons: Bows take a little finessing
