The 2024 BET Hip Hop Awards took place last week in Las Vegas, airing to the masses Tuesday (Oct. 15) evening. While the show felt more like a great night at the club than an awards presentation, there were, indeed, winners in this year’s ceremony. Announced throughout the night by host Fat Joe, the first winner was Sexyy Red for Best Breakthrough Hip-Hop Artist, followed by the Bronx rhymer revealing that Compton wordsmith Kendrick Lamar took home a whopping eight trophies.

The only winner to hit the stage was I AM HIP HOP Award recipient Travis Scott, who was honored by collaborators Teyana Taylor and Tyla.
