What makes you a top prospect at your position in the 2025 NFL Draft?

What makes me a top prospect in my position is my ability to get hands-on and be physical and not just rely on technique. I watch a lot of football and I believe a lot of db’s and especially corners are getting bigger and bigger but sometimes fail to use the size given. I do a great job using my hands and length to reroute receivers and make plays on the ball. Not only that but once the ball is in my hands, I’m able to turn into a receiver and gain yards with a TD and over 200 return yards to my name I’ve proven how lethal I am as a playmaker. I credit growing up and playing with my brother Lajohntay Wester, he’s electric and I might’ve stolen some of his moves. My head coach and position coaches, Dustin Beurer and Justin Sweeney were witnesses.

What is one thing that NFL teams should know about you?

One thing,I feel pro teams should know about me as a player is just how versatile I am as a player not only that but also how overly blessed I am to have the work ethic from God to even get this far. My brother Lajohntay Jaylen Wester can vouch…When you turn on the tape you can expect to see me make plays in both man and zone coverage, not only that but in special teams as well. My length and physicality at 6’2 enable me to do it all. Mainly I want to win and I understand that takes a team effort so I’m big on taking feedback from teammates and being overly critical on myself.

Who is your favorite NFL team?

Detroit Lions are my favorite NFL team.

Who is the most underrated teammate at your school?

Darius McClendon (FAU)and Ricky Pearson(Albion College) are the most underrated teammates I’ve ever had,Great ball players but even better brothers. Always checked on my mental off the field and would hold me accountable when others would be scared or just tell me what I want to hear. Both are hilarious too!

What is your biggest pet peeve?

Not holding your word is my biggest pet peeve.

Who is your favorite teacher ever?

Mrs. Daly, I still speak with her to this day. Phenomenal women!

Overcoming adversity is what defines character, what was the hardest moment in your life to overcome?

The hardest moment in my life to overcome was losing my grandma in the swift manner I did (cancer), it went from having a year with her to 5 months. And I just remember seeing her before going to pick my brother up from his McDonald’s job and getting a call 5 minutes later she was gone. On top of that, I had to report to campus way in Michigan for football camp and play a game the next month so that was tough but I would constantly recall how hard she would work even on holidays and I took that and I used the adversity and pain to go play my best ball and came away as a first-team all-conference player, God is great!

If you could have any franchise restaurant in your house what would it be?

Popeyes lol

What is your favorite snack food?

I like little bites, pickled eggs, boiled peanuts, big Texas, green grapes, fruit snacks, and salt and vinegar chips

What is your degree in?

My degree is in public safety

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would it be and why?

I would have dinner with my Auntie Titi, Grandma Michelle, and Tupac. My aunt because she was only 20 when she was murdered at FAMU but she achieved so much and had so much knowledge and style that I wish she could’ve shared with me. My grandma was so sick with cancer that while I got to see her often I didn’t really get to take her out or celebrate recent birthdays of hers from being busy with college football, also neither she nor my aunt got to see me graduate college. Tupac was one because of his versatility and the pull he had and has every time I listen to a song or interview of his I just feel he was sorta an anomaly much like myself but full of wisdom and aura,a dinner and convo with these 3 individuals would be golden.

What is your biggest weakness?

My heart, sometimes I put others before myself too much and it leaves me a bit lonely.
