38% of PS Plus Members Are Paying More for Extra, Premium

Image: Push SquareMore people than you think have upgraded their PS Plus subscriptions. As part of an investor presentation today, PlayStation boss Hideki Nishino confirmed that 38% of all PS Plus members are subscribed to the more expensive PS Plus Extra and PS Plus Premium tiers.

The breakdown looks like this: 22% of all members are subscribed to PS Plus Premium and 16% of all members are subscribed to PS Plus Extra. That obviously leaves the remaining 62% on PS Plus Essential, which you’d always expect to be the most popular tier.
