Copper Bars are an item that you will need once you’ve made considerable amount of progress in LEGO Fortnite. But how do you get your hands on them?

LEGO Fortnite is all about exploring, building and surviving. However, as you make your way to the later stages of the game, you will need to get your hands on more advanced materials that will allow you to craft better items.

Over there, you’ll need to start smelting metals in order to build stronger tools and weapons. That is when you require copper and copper bars in LEGO Fortnite.

Where to find Copper

To find copper in LEGO Fortnite, you will first have to make your way to the desert biome. This is also known as the dry valley, and is characterized by sandy soil and cactuses. Once you’re there, you will have to look for a lava cave.

These caves can be found on the ground, and the entrance to these caves are guarded by heaps of rocks. Once there, you’ll be able to spot copper ores in LEGO Fortnite. These are brown colored deposits that can be found sticking out from the floor or from the sides of the walls.

Use your pickaxe to break them, but be careful not to fall into the lava. You will also encounter obsidian deposits while you’re inside these caves. So feel free to mine those as well, should you need some to craft other items.

To get copper bars, you will first have to craft a metal smelter. Here’s what you need to build this machinery:

Brightcore x15

Obsidian Slab x35

Blast Core x3

Once you’ve successfully built a smelter, you can craft copper bars here. To craft one bar, you will need the following items:

Copper ore x1

Brightcore x2
