Selena Gomez Radiates Happiness in Snuggliest Photo With Boyfriend Benny Blanco Yet
Selena Gomez had a very eventful year. While 2023 started off somewhat tumultuously with all that Browgate drama, it was also the year Gomez reconciled with longtime friend and kidney donor Francia RaĂsa. Only Murders in the Building season three hit Hulu amid the Hollywood strikes. Gomez quit TikTok. She returned to TikTok. She left Instagram. She hit the town with Taylor Swift and returned to Instagram again.
Oh, and she hard-launched her relationship with boyfriend Benny Blanco. With one month left to go in the year, Gomez confirmed the relationship in early December, revealing she had already been with the 35-year-old music producer and foodie for six months. While interacting with fans, Gomez referred to Blanco as “the best thing that’s ever happened to me” and “better than anyone I’ve been with.”
Gomez has since shared multiple photos with Blanco on Instagram, posting a particularly cozy moment on December 30. In the snap, she smiles at the camera as a very comfy-looking Blanco wraps her up in a warm embrace. The producer wore a fleece floral hoodie while Gomez fought the cold in a cream sweater, wool coat, and, of course, her boyfriend’s arms.

That same day, Gomez also shared a roundup of “moments in time,” which appeared to include a bunch of sweet memories from 2023—including a trip to Disney with sister Gracie Teefey, a night out with close friend Nicola Peltz Beckham, and a plethora of mirror and makeup-free selfies.
Though Blanco did not seem to appear in this photo dump, he made the grid twice on December 14. In a roundup of Selena Gomez’s “favorite moments” from a recent trip to New York, Blanco was pictured hugging his girlfriend in one photo while giving her a kiss in another.
A source recently told Entertainment Tonight that Selena Gomez feels “so safe and secure” with Blanco. “Benny is a great communicator, is honest and open with Selena, and listens to her. He’s respectful, isn’t a player, and not in it for the attention or fame,” the source said. “He doesn’t care about any of that and Selena sees that and really trusts him.”
They added, “She feels like she can give him a part of her heart that she hasn’t been able to, or willing to, offer in a relationship in a very long time. Selena feels like she has finally found one of the good guys and it’s been very refreshing for her. Their feelings for each other are very mutual and they are looking forward to growing their relationship and special bond.”
