Caitlin Clark is open from the moment she steps in the gym, especially with the game on the line.

Everyone knew the ball was going to the star of the Iowa women’s basketball team when the Hawkeyes were tied with Michigan State in the final seconds of Tuesday’s Big Ten matchup, but it didn’t matter.

She pump faked, took one dribble, unleashed a step back and then drained the game-winner in a 76-73 victory:

Clark was brilliant throughout the contest and finished with 40 points, five assists and three steals in another head-turning performance. She drilled eight shots from beyond the arc, including the most important one of the game.

Iowa improved to 14-1 overall and 3-0 in Big Ten play with the win, while Michigan State fell to 11-3 and 1-2 in the conference.

Next up for the fourth-ranked Hawkeyes is a road game against Rutgers on Friday.
