Adding a layer of security is extremely important to keep your account safe. Here’s how to activate 2 Factor Authentication for your Fortnite account.

As an avid Fortnite player, the last thing you want to happen is getting your account hacked. No one would ever want to imagine how it would feel if their hard-earned Battle Pass skins, emotes, and other limited-time cosmetics they’ve tried so hard to get simply vanished into thin air. Well, this is exactly why it’s extremely important to set up a 2-factor authentication for your Fortnite account.

In case you didn’t know, 2 Factor Authentication or 2FA gives your account an extra layer of security by requiring an additional step to log in to your account. This extra step involves entering a code that only you can see from your email or an authentication app, making it harder for hackers to get past the login prompt.

Check out how you can activate 2 Factor Authentication for Fortnite to make your account more secure.
