Chynna Phillips revealed that she and husband Billy Baldwin “separated for six months” after she committed her life to Christianity.
“I’ve been with Billy for 32 years and we have an awesome marriage, but we definitely had the hardest couple years of our marriage these past couple of years. It has been a real struggle,” she shared in a video posted to her YouTube channel Saturday.
“I think it’s because I just took the deep dive into Jesus, and I think he didn’t quite know what to do with that because it was kind of all Jesus, all the time.”
Phillips — who married the actor in 1995 — said that she and Baldwin split for six months, though she did not specify when.
The musician previously filed for divorce from Baldwin, 60, in March 2010, but withdrew the papers just days later.

The 55-year-old, who shares three children with Baldwin, emphasized that she is “changing” and “growing” from when she met the “Fair Game” star in her early 20s.
“I’m not the same person I was 30 years ago, and I refuse to have the same marriage that we had 30 years ago. It’s time for us to mature and grow,” she added.
Baldwin’s rep did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
