LeBron James couldn’t overcome an inefficient shooting night as the Los Angeles Lakers lost to the Phoenix Suns by the final score of 127-109 on Thursday.

James finished with 10 points and nine assists in only 24 minutes, although he connected on just three of his 11 field goal attempts. The 19-time All-Star also missed all four of his shots from behind the arc.

The Lakers committed 17 turnovers while recording nine fewer rebounds as a team compared to the Suns. Anthony Davis shot an efficient 55 percent from the field, although he racked up a mere 13 points in 32 minutes of action. Los Angeles has now lost 10 of its past 14 games, as fans pointed out the team’s continued struggles.

Lakers Nation @LakersNationKinda just feels like the Lakers have no plan on either end of the floor tonight.

Doug McKain @DMAC_LALakers getting absolutely embarrassed at home by the Suns. Thankfully, Darvin Ham pointed out that the NBA season is a marathon and that Lakers fans shouldn’t be living and dying with every game. All good even though the Lakers are going to be under .500 midway through the season
