Kanye West Snatches Phone From Paparazzi Questioning If His Wife “Has Free Will”

Kanye West lashed out at a paparazzi member after she asked him if his wife has “free will.” 

TMZ reported that a photographer approached the entertainer and asked whether or not he was “controlling” his wife, Bianca Censori. “People want to know if Bianca has her free will. Some people say you’re controlling her,” the woman said.

Ye immediately became enraged, snapped at the photog, and snatched her phone. “Don’t come asking me that dumb a** sh*t, I’m a person,” he shouted. “You think ’cause you a white woman that you can walk up on me like that and ask me some dumb a** sh*t like that? Ask me about my wife? Do you have free will or you work for the devil?”

As the woman began asking for her phone back, Ye continued berating her. He then turned the tables and began asking questions of his own. 

“Is that your job to go up to every celebrity and ask them some dumb a** sh*t about their wife?” he said. “Was it wrong for you to ask me about my wife, some dumb-a** disrespectful sh*t like that? Answer the question. I’m supposed to answer your questions, answer my questions.…You asked me does my wife have free will. Was that a dumb-a**, disrespectful question to come ask a grown-a** superhero?”

The “free will” question was regarding a Daily Mail report that Ye “banned” Censori from social media. The outlet also reported that Censori’s family and friends were concerned about her well-being.

“He doesn’t want her to have it because he thinks that it will hurt her if she had to read the nasty things that people say,” a source told the outlet. “He convinced her that, since she is a star now, she has to remain a mystery and it is creepy to those who know her as it feels like another form of control.“

Family and friends reportedly staged an intervention for Bianca in late 2023. The intervention allegedly led to the couple separating. However, the split was brief, and they eventually reunited.
