Megan Thee Stallion Announces Third Studio Album, Hot Girl Summer Tour For 2024

Megan Thee Stallion has big plans for 2024, as the 28-year-old rapper announced her forthcoming third studio album and the Hot Girl Summer tour.

“Oh we’re having the tour this year,” she said during her Tuesday morning (Jan. 30) interview on Good Morning America. “The Hot Girl Summer tour is going to be 2024, summertime. I feel like I’ve never been able to be outside doing my own thing during the summer. Like, since like 2019, so this is going to be the first time that I drop an album on time for the summer. I do want to give the Hotties the ‘Megan Thee Stallion experience.’”

There is currently no set release date for her upcoming album, nor the Hot Girl Summer tour, but given her recent singles “Cobra” and “Hiss,” it is safe to believe those announcements will be coming soon. Meg’s 2024 LP will continue her two-year album release cycle, following 2022’s Traumazine and her 2020 debut album Good News. Check out her announcement below.

While Megan Thee Stallion’s announcement is exciting for the Hotties, it hasn’t been all positivity as of late. On Friday (Jan. 26), she released her latest single “Hiss” which took shots at Nicki Minaj, Drake, and several of her naysayers to the point where Joe Budden even thought that he caught a stray bullet.

“These h*es don’t be mad at Megan, these h*es mad at Megan’s Law/ I don’t really know what the problem is, but I guarantee y’all don’t want me to start/ Bi**h, you a pu**y never finna check me/ Every chance you get, bet your weak a** won’t address me/ Bi**hes swear they G, but the G must stand for goofy,” she rapped. “Megan’s Law” was a reference to Minaj’s husband Kenneth Petty, who was convicted of raping a teenager in 1995.

As for the 6 God, she had words for his use of accents, rumored surgeries, and sexual ineptitude. “These ni**as hate on BBLs and be walkin’ ’round with the same scars/ Real curvy, no etchin’, ni**as fight to get in my section/ Don’t speak on my body count if the d**k ain’t worth comin’ back for seconds/ Cosplay gangsters, fake-a** accents/ Posted in another ni**a hood like a bad bi**h,” she spat.
