Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and singer/songwriter Taylor Swift might be two of the busiest people on the planet right now, but they’ve found a way to make their relationship work.
Kelce, who is gearing up for Super Bowl LVIII against the San Francisco 49ers, made an appearance Wednesday on the Pat McAfee Show and discussed his relationship with Swift, who is preparing for her Eras Tour to begin again in Tokyo, Japan.
Kelce was asked specifically about the hate the two have received since going public with their relationship toward the beginning of the NFL season. He responded:
“Hopefully everybody realizes that we’re two people in a relationship supporting each other and having fun with it, man. It’s nothing more than that and how much the world wants to paint the picture and make us the enemy, we just have fun with it and we enjoy every single bit of it and sure enough I love it when Taylor comes and supports me and enjoys the game with the fam and friends. It’s been nothing but a wonderful year.”Pat McAfee @PatMcAfeeShow”We’re just two people in a relationship supporting each other..

Swift has been in attendance for many of Kelce’s games dating back to September, and she has received plenty of hate from football fans who think broadcasts showing her on television are taking away from the game.
The Grammys are coming up this weekend, though the tight end isn’t expected to make an appearance alongside Swift as he travels to Las Vegas in preparation for the Super Bowl.
That said, many are expecting Swift to be in attendance for the Super Bowl when the Chiefs and 49ers square off.
The Super Bowl is set for Feb. 11, and the Chiefs are looking to become the first team since the New England Patriots during the 2003 and 2004 seasons to win back-to-back championships.
Swift’s Eras Tour in Japan runs from Feb. 8 through Feb. 10, and the country is 17 hours ahead of Las Vegas, which gives her plenty of time to make it to the desert to support Kelce.
