BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2024 Favorites
12 teams will participate in the competition, but only these teams will enter the fray as hot favorites:
Team Spirit
Unsurprisingly, the current holders of the Aegis are one of the biggest title contenders in Dubai. While Gaimin Gladiators may have dominated the headlines leading up to the International 2023, Team Spirit had already showcased remarkable consistency long before their triumph at TI12. They are invincible since July 2023 and will be looking to stretch that run into the new year. Illya âYatoroâ Mulyarchuk is their ace, but Spirit are not solely reliant on their star carry player. Myroslav âMiraâ Kolpakov and Yaroslav âMiposhkaâ Naidenov will try to cement their status as the best playmaking duo in the game.

Winning TI12 would have been the icing on the cake in a remarkable year for Gaimin Gladiators. The North American giants set an unprecedented record of winning five tier 1 championships in a single year, so they were heavily backed to end their wait for an International title in 2023. A crushing defeat at the Climate Pledge Arena, however, marred an otherwise stellar year for Melchior âSeleriâ Hillenkamp and the gang. After two back-to-back runner-up finishes in flagship Dota 2 competitions, Gaimin Gladiators will be determined to return to winning ways in Dubai with an unchanged roster.
Team Liquid

2023 was a year of near misses for Team Liquid. They could not put their hands on top tier silverware, even though they were quite close on a few occasions. Liquid narrowly missed out on Riyadh Masters, but they were riding high on confidence before the International 2023. Despite a good start, they could only manage a 5th-6th finish and followed up with another agonizing 3rd place finish at the ESL One Malaysia 2023. The Dutch powerhouse will be flying to the Middle East as one of the biggest BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2024 favorites, regardless, as they are currently ranked 4th in the world.
BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2024 Dark Horses
These teams are not the most obvious BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2024 favorites, but they are capable of going on an upset title run:
Azure Ray
The Chinese scene is somewhat struggling at the moment, with the regionâs biggest force LGD Gaming going through a transitional phase. Azure Ray have been a ray of glimmering hope for the Chinese fans in recent times, however, as they made a surprise semifinal finish at the International 2023. They took it up a notch in Malaysia months later, as they won the ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023. Azure Ray have assembled a balanced squad with ample big event experience, so they will one of the BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2024 dark horses.
Falcons
Falcons have predominantly grabbed headlines for their star-studded CS2 team, overshadowing their remarkable Dota 2 squad, which has largely remained under the radar. The Saudi organization finalized their Dota 2 roster just a few months ago, boasting a remarkable blend of experience and youthful talent. Andreas âCr1t-â Nielsen, a two-time Major winner, now wears the Falcons jersey, alongside former TI champion Jingjun âSneykingâ Wu. Additionally, Falcons have acquired Ammar âATFâ Al-Assaf following his impressive tenure with Quest Esports. With such a talented lineup, a surprising title run could very well be within reach for this multinational squad.
When he’s not sighing at sub-standard teammates in Dota 2 and CS2, The Old One is writing about those two games (among other things). If you see his name around the site too many times for your liking, well, the guy just never stops writing. Yes, we’ve tried an intervention.
