IGN can exclusively reveal the new trailer and poster for Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 2, the upcoming sequel to the viral sensation of 2023. (You can watch the trailer via the player above or the embed below.)
Winnie-the-Pooh will be joined in the sequel by Tigger, who was not in the public domain at the time the original Blood & Honey was released. Tigger entered the public domain in January 2024; IGN revealed the first look at Tigger last September.
As producer Scott Jeffrey told us at the time, “Tigger is incredibly violent. He loves to torture his victims before killing them.”
Owl is also in Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 2 and can be seen on the poster below.
Jeffrey also said the Matthew Leslie-scripted sequel has “a substantially higher budget so Rhys [Frake Waterfield, the director] is really able to create a shocking, explosive and gore-filled movie. I truly think people will really dig what we are creating.”
The official synopsis below sheds more light on what Pooh’s next rampage entails:
“Deep within the 100-Acre-Wood, a destructive rage grows as Winnie-the-Pooh, Piglet, Owl, and Tigger find their home and their lives endangered after Christopher Robin revealed their existence.
“Not wanting to live in the shadows any longer, the group decides to take the fight to the town of Ashdown, home of Christopher Robin, leaving a bloody trail of death and mayhem in their wake.
Winnie and his savage friends will show everyone that they are deadlier, stronger, and smarter than anyone could ever imagine and get their revenge on Christopher Robin, once and for all.”
Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey 2 – First Look at TiggerThe film stars Scott Chambers, Ryan Oliva, Tallulah Evans, Lewis Santer, Marcus Massey, Simon Callow, Alec Newman, and Teresa Banham.
