Ryan Garcia scuffles with Devin and Bill Haney hours after world title bout between the pair confirmed
It didn’t take long for the build-up to Devin Haney’s WBC super lightweight world title bout against Ryan Garcia to boil over.
The two young boxing stars bumped into each other at Super Bowl Radio Row in Las Vegas on Friday evening and things quickly got heated.
Just hours earlier, it was confirmed Garcia would be challenging Haney for his WBC strap at 140-pounds in Las Vegas on April 20.

With several months before their meeting, and a long history between the pair, we can expect plenty more fireworks before fight night.

Vision emerged on social media on Friday night which showed Haney and Garcia exchanging some heated words at the NFL press event.
A shove from Garcia then got Haney and his significant entourage, which featured his father Bill, hot under the collar.
Some onlookers and security looked to calm the tensions while many had their phones out hoping to catch a viral moment.
Garcia posted two videos to his Instagram, captioned:
Ran up on Devin and he crumbled. STOP LETTING YOUR DAD PIMP YOU! 4-20 it’s go time! See you on the press tour P**sy. Exposed how soft you really are!!! I’m crushing you. Daddy Bill Almost cried. He will cry in the fight.

In his second outing in the unpaid ranks, Haney allegedly dropped a decision to Garcia. However, “The Dream” would avenge that loss at the U.S. National Junior Championships in 2014, also by decision.
In 2020, Haney told Chris Mannix that Garcia didn’t score any victories over him. “I beat him every time,” he said. “Don’t believe anything he says.”
