After Keyshawn Davis defeated Francesco Patera in July last year, ‘The Businessman’ called out Devin Haney, hoping to lay his hands on the Undisputed Lightweight title. In addition, Davis stated he would go for the stoppage if he and Haney were to fight. However, ahead of Devin Haney vs. Vasyl Lomachenko, Keyshawn Davis also showed his faith in Devin’s abilities. He’s a more skilful fighter. I always go with the skill. So, Devin Haney,” Keyshawn concluded. Well, as Keyshawn said, Devin Haney has indeed displayed impressive qualities in his fights.

Haney is an intelligent fighter in the sense that he understands his reach. Although several people complained that he starts slow, Haney uses basic punches appropriately and avoids unnecessary risks. For example, when ‘The Dream’ fought George Kambosos Jr., he kept the latter at bay and made the most of his jabs and straight hands. Anyway, do you think Devin Haney will bear Ryan Garcia down? In your opinion, who is more skilful – Garcia or Haney? Let us know in the comments below.
