Kylian Mbappe substituted at half-time but decides against sitting with Paris Saint-Germain teammates on the bench
Kylian Mbappe headed to the stands to sit with his mother instead of his teammates after being taken off at half-time on Friday night.
The Paris Saint-Germain star was playing against his old side Monaco when coach Luis Enrique made the shock decision to substitute off his talisman at half-time.

Mbappe opted to make his way to the stands rather than his teammatesWith the scores locked at 0-0 and Mbappe not appearing to be injured, the decision left many baffled – not least the Frenchman himself.
But in bizarre fashion, the striker opted to sit in the stands with his mother at the Stade Louis II instead of with his teammates on the PSG bench.
His mother, Fayza Lamari, is also his agent while Mbappe greeted the fans, took selfies, and signed autographs pitchside as the second-half started before taking his seat in the stands.
The France international also came out of the tunnel on his phone as he opted to leave his teammates behind on the bench.

Mbappe has already told the Ligue 1 champions that he does not intend to sign a new contract, which will expire at the end of the season.
It means that the World Cup winner will depart in the summer for nothing – a huge hit for PSG, who paid Monaco ÂŁ166million for his services in 2017.
This is not the first awkward episode Mbappe has had with PSG since his decision was made public.
