The resurfaced interview shows how Brady sparked a passionate response from Deion Sanders. When asked who deserves more credit for the New England Patriots victory between coach Bill Belichick and the quarterback, Sanders had his answer ready. Confidently, he stated, “But that talk Brady, man Tom Brady is a game-changer on the field, in the locker room, in life.”

Brady being the linchpin that holds the whole narrative together, Coach Prime then drew parallels with one of the greatest quarterbacks in NFL history, “Because that Tom Brady, see when you have a guy that you could think back even in our plan they said, well the only one that could really rival him, oh, that man from the 49ers, Joe Montana.”

Even though Peyton Manning seemed to earn a place in Sanders’ rankings, the real reason Brady outperformed Manning was his classiness. Sanders put forward his opinion and stated, “Only Peyton Manning I gotta get Payton some credit. But that Tom Brady is in a class by himself, so I’m gonna give it to Tom Brady because he could get another coach and still be Tom Brady in that Super Bowl.” However, this was not the only time Coach Prime shared kind words about Brady, acknowledging the hard work he has put into reaching the top.

So, you have to sacrifice some things to be in that position, and I don’t think this culture is ready to make those types of sacrifices.”
