Missed out on Glastonbury Festival tickets? There are still a few ways you could get through the gates.

This is the first year the event will have two female headliners – Dua Lipa and SZA – with Coldplay as the third act topping the bill.

General sale tickets for the event at Worthy Farm in Somerset sold out within an hour in November.

But with the resale still to come and volunteering slots available, there are still options for music fans.

Glastonbury ticket resale

Although no exact date has been released, resale tickets for Glastonbury Festival will be available in April.

The number of tickets put up for resale depends on how many people do not pay the full amount, after paying their deposit in November.

If you want to buy a ticket in the resale, you will need to ensure you are registered.

Tickets purchased in the resale must be paid for in full at point of booking.

Festival organisers urge fans to go through the official channels to avoid being scammed out of their money.

Glastonbury prize-draw

Glastonbury Festival has opened a ticket prize-draw to raise money for charities supporting people affected by conflict.

Twenty tickets are up for grabs and the draw is open until 12:00 GMT on 28 March.

Organisers say the money raised will be donated to the British Red Cross, Oxfam and War Child.

Glastonbury volunteering

Various charities offer volunteering work which gains you access to Glastonbury Festival.

Registration remains open for volunteering with Greenpeace and anyone picked will get entry to the festival and three meals a day.

In return, you are expected to work a minimum of five eight-hour shifts during the festival between 25 June and 1 July.

Registration to volunteer for charities WaterAid and Oxfam have closed but spaces do occasionally become available.

How much are Glastonbury tickets?

Tickets for the 2024 festival cost £355 (plus a £5 booking fee), up from £335 for 2023’s event.

Last year, about two-and-a-half million people sought tickets for the event at Worthy Farm, with just 210,000 available.

Festival ticket and coach packages for the 2024 event sold out in 25 minutes on 16 November.

Glastonbury 2024 line-up

Aside from Pyramid Stage headliners Dua Lipa, Coldplay and SZA, there is plenty of other music to see.

Shania Twain will play the coveted “legend slot” on Sunday afternoon.

Other acts on this year’s line-up include Afrobeats star Burna Boy, who is taking his first stride onto the Pyramid Stage; and award-winning rapper Little Simz, who will play immediately before Coldplay.

Avril Lavigne, Keane, Cyndi Lauper, Anne-Marie, Jessie Ware and Declan McKenna also all feature in this year’s line-up.

More acts are still to be announced, so keep a close eye on the Glastonbury Festival website for details.
