Wheelchair-bound Madonna fan reacts to singer scolding her for sitting down at concert
No hard feelings!
A Madonna fan who is bound to a wheelchair said she bears no grudges against the Queen of Pop for accidentally demanding she stand up during a recent concert.
âSome people are in wheelchairs and can stand â she had no idea I was paralyzed,â Vanessa Gorman, who is a paraplegic due to a 1999 car accident, told TMZ Friday.
She added that she doesnât think Madonna was intentionally being cruel during the exchange.

Earlier this month, the âHolidayâ songstress berated Gorman for sitting down during her concert in LA.
âWhat are you doing sitting down over there? What are you getting sitting down?â she asked per a video posted on TikTok before walking to the edge of the stage to get a closer look at the fan.
Madonna, 65, then realized her error, and immediately apologized.

The clip â which has been viewed more than 2 million time â sparked outrage online.
âThat is a sad apology! What the heck. Refund them their ticket!!â one social media user demanded.

During a stop in Seattle, the mom of six took a tumble during a performance of her 1986 hit âOpen Your Heartâ after one of her dancers seemingly tripped while sliding her across the stage.
However, the âLike a Virginâ singer handled the situation like a pro at the time.
She quickly rolled over on her stomach, continuing to sing, and laughed off the mishap.

Madonnaâs tour was postponed last year when she underwent a health crisis that landed her in intensive care while rehearsing.
Page Six exclusively reported that in August 2023 that she had been rushed to a New York City hospital and intubated for at least one night after being found unresponsive due to a âserious bacterial infection.â
Madonna then said during a Brooklyn concert in December 2023, âThe fact that Iâm here right now is the fâking miracle.â
