Megan Thee Stallion is coming to a city near you. Earlier this week, the Houston rapper shared the news that she is hitting the road for the Hot Girl Summer Tour. Kicking off this May, the global trek leg features GloRilla as the opening act and has stops everywhere from Chicago and Detroit to London and Paris (find tickets here).

The Hot Girl Summer Tour comes as Megan Thee Stallion kicks off a new era of her career. Releasing the deeply personal “Cobra” last year, she entered 2024 with attitude. Her defiant track “Hiss” became her first solo number-one on the Hot 100 earlier this year.
The achievement followed her 2020 No. 1 records, “WAP” with Cardi B and “Savage (Remix)” with Beyoncé, and put the “Cocky AF” rapper in the same company as Lauryn Hill and Nicki Minaj as the third female rapper to debut at the top of the chart.
“The main thing to say is thank you,” shared the Nike collaborator with her fans.
As her first headlining tour, the Grammy-nominated rapper has two studio albums, one compilation, three mixtapes, three EPs, and countless features and freestyles to curate her performance. Read below for which tracks and verses VIBE believes should make the cut.

Released in 2017, “Last Week In HTX” introduces Megan Thee Stallion’s cocky attitude and rap skills. Detailing her humble beginnings and Houston roots, she declares “Bi**h, I’m from Texas” throughout the song. The throwback track is the perfect reminder of her come-up.

“How you let a broke ni**a talk you out the draws?” is a question posed by Megan Thee Stallion in “Runnin Up Freestyle,” a fun lyrical exercise boasting anime references and fiery wordplay. Initially rapped on Charlie Sloth’s Beats 1 radio show Fire in the Booth in 2019, the freestyle was included on Megan’s “Fever” mixtape that same year.
“Cocky AF”

“Cocky AF” is just that. Megan Thee Stallion raps with an undeniable confidence that is almost threatening to anyone who dares to undermine her authority. Issued in 2018, the song is one of the Houston rapper’s most underrated anthems.
“Ungrateful” Feat. Key Glock

A standout from her Traumazine album, Megan Thee Stallion and Key Glock go bar-for-bar on “Ungrateful.” The menacing track features some of Megan’s most hard-hitting rhymes and slickest disses. It would also be fun for Key Glock to pop out at the Memphis tour date.
“Do it on the Tip” Feat. City Girls

One of the most fun collaborations in Megan Thee Stallion’s catalog, “Do It On The Tip” features the City Girls and finds all three ladies whimsically rhyming their raunchiest bars. The infectious beat is perfect to get the audience on their feet with just the first verse, but a moment of rap girl unity with Yung Miami or JT joining the stage would satisfy (and surprise) us all.
“Naturally”

From her “Make It Hot” era, Megan Thee Stallion’s “Naturally” highlights not just her physical assets but her organic approach to life. The 2017 song manifests a full-circle moment for the rapper who declared herself “the black Regina George,” and six years later in 2023, she’s featured on the Mean Girls musical soundtrack.
“Savage Remix” – Feat. Beyoncé

Released in 2020, “Savage Remix” featuring Beyoncé is one of Megan Thee Stallion’s biggest career moments. While the original version scored her multiple GRAMMY Awards, the collaboration brought the two Houston representatives together for the first (and hopefully not last) time. As the rapper joined Mrs. Carter on stage during her Renaissance tour in their hometown, maybe the favor can be returned.
“Cognac Queen”

“Cognac Queen” is an essential Megan Thee Stallion track. The sultry rhymes showcase the Houston rapper’s melodic side as she details her sexual skills. The song is featured on her 2018 mixtape Tina Snow.
“Captain Hook”

“I’m a hot girl, dont try it at home,” warns Megan Thee Stallion in “Captain Hook.” The freestyle rap comes from her SUGA EP and has no hook, just the performer rapping and switching flows for nearly three minutes.
“Big Ol’ Freak”

A fan-favorite track, “Big Ol Freak” was released in 2018 on the Tina Snow mixtape and ultimately served as Megan Thee Stallion’s mainstream breakthrough as her first record to enter the Billboard Hot 100 chart, debuting at No. 99.
“WAP” – Cardi B, Feat. Megan Thee Stallion

The collaboration that made the world stop. In 2020, Megan Thee Stallion joined Cardi B on “Wap” a fun, yet explicit anthem that broke the internet. While having the Bronx rapper pop out at the New York show would be a welcomed surprise, Megan can spit her verse solo and take on some of the choreography with no complaints.
“Plan B”

“Plan B” was issued by Megan Thee Stallion in 2022 on her sophomore album Traumazine. Sampling the “Freek’n You” remix by Jodeci featuring Wu-Tang Clan, the song features the Houston rapper in her most aggressive form. The song is not only a declaration of her disdain for f**k ni**as, but a reminder of her independent power.
“Hiss”

Megan Thee Stallion released “Hiss” earlier this year and caused an uproar across the music industry. With multiple rappers allegedly targeted by the hard-hitting record, it stands as her first solo No. 1 debut on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. She used the track to lay gossip to rest serving as a much-needed cathartic release.
“Eat It”

Some of Megan Thee Stallion’s best songs are when she is having fun, rapping about her sexual exploits, and “Eat It” is one of her most underrated. Released in 2021 on Something For The Hotties, the upbeat track has witty wordplay an infectious beat, and a hilarious outro featuring VickeeLo and Dino BTW, whose track “Pu**y in his Face” is sampled.
“Pop It”- Bankroll Freddie Feat. Megan Thee Stallion

Megan Thee Stallion joined Bankroll Freddie on “Pop It” in 2021 and delivered one of her strongest guest features thus far. The Houston hottie makes the strip-club-ready song hers with the second and final verse bragging “Bi**hes ain’t f**kin’ with me and this jewelry, I need a ni**a that know what to do with me/Guess I’m too hot so these bi**hes ain’t cool with me, too f**king thick, he wish it was two of me.”
“Geekin”

“Geekin” is a throwback in Megan Thee Stallion’s discography but still can get a party started. Released in 2017 on Make It Hot, the track features a hypnotic beat, and the rapper effortlessly flows through multiple verses with a sticky, Southern accent.
“Anxiety”

One of her more vulnerable tracks, “Anxiety” shows a different side of Megan Thee Stallion. The mental health advocate makes clear that even in her success, “bad bi**hes have bad days, too” making space for conversation about grief, anger, and other complex emotions.
“Freak Nasty”

“I’m running through yo’ ni**a house like the Tomb Raider,” is one of Megan Thee Stallion’s most entertaining opening lines, and the daring energy is carried through the rest of the track. Released in 2018 on Tina Snow, “Freak Nasty” is the perfect song for Thee Stallion and her hotties to show off their twerk skills and titanium knees.
“Big Drank”

Showcasing a softer side of “Megan Thee Stallion, “Big Drank” is a fan favorite. The song is a homage to Southern Hip-Hop through lyrical references and a sample of “Sippin’ on Some Syrup” by Three 6 Mafia featuring UGK and Project Pat. The melodic song is featured in her Fever mixtape released in 2019.
“Stalli Freestyle”

Don’t call yourself a hottie if you can’t recite all the words. “Stalli Freestyle” is one of Megan Thee Stallion’s first viral moments, and while “Big Ol’ Freak” took her mainstream, the aforementioned track put her on the map, introducing most to her signature, sharp delivery. Released in 2017, the freestyle takes on XXXTentacion’s “Look at Me!”
