Say it once, say it twice, but don’t say it thrice, because the first trailer for the Beetlejuice sequel is here. Officially titled Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, the Tim Burton-directed film once again stars Michael Keaton as the ghoulish bio-exorcist, summoned back to the world of the living. Also returning is Winona Ryder as Lydia, who narrowly escaped becoming Beetlejuice’s bride at the end of the first film.

Three decades in the making, Beetlejuice Beetlejuice has a few new faces joining Ryder, Keaton, and Catherine O’Hara, who played Lydia’s mom in the first film. Wednesday’s Jenna Ortega stars as Lydia’s teenage daughter Astrid and Betelgeuse has become married to a new character played by Monica Bellucci. Willem Dafoe also stars in the film as an underworld enforcer for the afterlife, and in his first life, he was a B-movie action star.

“After an unexpected family tragedy, three generations of the Deetz family return home to Winter River,” reads the plot synopsis for the film. “Still haunted by Beetlejuice, Lydia’s life is turned upside down when her rebellious teenage daughter, Astrid, discovers the mysterious model of the town in the attic and the portal to the Afterlife is accidentally opened. With trouble brewing in both realms, it’s only a matter of time until someone says Beetlejuice’s name three times and the mischievous demon returns to unleash his very own brand of mayhem.”

Beetlejuice Beetlejuice will arrive in theaters on September 6.
