B/R AM: New Rule NFL Players Hate

The NFL and its competition committee presented three big rule change proposals on Wednesday.
One of them has defensive players mad.
The committee wants to outlaw the ‘hip drop tackle,’ which hasĀ causedĀ several major injuries in recent memorySeveralĀ playersĀ used the trash emoji in reaction; Darius Slay tweeted ‘this s— is crazy!’Ā
The NFLPA also came out against it, arguing it will make playing defense more confusing.
Other rule change proposals:
A replay review for potential delay of game penaltiesUltimately, the owners have the power: If 25 of 32 vote for any of these rules, they become official.
