Where’s Diddy? The music mogul was spotted in Miami with his two daughters just days after federal agents conducted a raid on his Los Angeles and Miami properties. The rapper flashed a peace sign at paparazzi waiting to snap photos of him with his two 17-year-old daughters, Jessie and D’Lila. The trio headed to Top Golf in Miami Gardens as photo seekers followed them, snapping the first photos of Diddy’s appearance since becoming entangled in a sex trafficking probe. Diddy accuser Rodney Jones filed a lawsuit with multiple salacious allegations, which may have prompted the raids.
“We believe that there is a disturbing history of sex trafficking,” a Department of Homeland Security Officer said in a statement about the raids. “We are responding to concrete, detailed, explicit allegations. This is not random. We didn’t choose his name out of a hat. We had allegations that we’re following up on.”
Diddy ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura was the first to file a lawsuit against the rapper in November 2023. That case was quickly settled out of court, but soon after three other lawsuits emerged. Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs himself has not been charged with any crimes or accused of any wrongdoing in connection with the raids—which is why federal agents did not arrest him. While neither Combs nor his children were arrested, his two sons Justin and Christian Combs were handcuffed during the raids. Lawyers for the rapper called the raids “a gross use of military-level force” and asserted that Combs is “innocent and will continue to fight” to clear his name. “There is no excuse for the excessive show of force and hostility exhibited by authorities or the way his children and employees were treated,” a statement from attorney Aaron Dyer reads.
Meanwhile, an alleged ‘drug mule’ for Diddy was recently arrested on cocaine and marijuana possession charges in Miami. Brenden Paul, 25, a former Syracuse University basketball player was arrested at the airport by Miami-Dade police working in conjunction with Homeland Security agents. Paul was named in Rodney Jones’ civil sexual assault lawsuit against Combs, though the arrest does not appear to be connected.
Jones accused Paul of being a ‘drug mule’ for Diddy, stating that he acquires and distributes ‘drugs and guns’ for the rapper.
