Nicki Minaj Addresses Critics Who Think She Only Collaborates With “Nobodies”
After another sold out Boston show during the Pink Friday 2 World Tour, Nicki Minaj went online to address critics who believe she only works with “nobodies.”
The negative remarks came after the record-breaking artist brought out JT, Bia, Akbar V, Maliibu Miitch and Katie Got Bandz to perform their “Super Freaky Girl (Queens Mix).” Although each rapstress shined in “Gag City” and left Minaj gagged as well, it didn’t stop critics from having much to say.
“99% of em is NOBODIES,” one X account quoted a line from Minaj’s “Freedom” song, as another wrote “Girl you literally have a bunch of nobodies on the stage who can’t even compete in top 200 who tf bumping Katie bandz, akbar and malibu or even a bia.”

In response, the Queens, NY icon took to X to say, “Well I guess your faves are ALL nobodies who can’t compete b/c they’ve all gotten the collaboration they requested. Silly wabbits #GagCity tour has already made history for being the most successful tour by a female rapper in history after only 17 shows. Let’s see where it ranks out of all HIP HOP tours (male or female) when we wrap.”
She went on to thank The Barbz for their support while also listing her major milestones since dropping Pink Friday 2 back in December.
“I guess they wuz rlly believing the tour wasn’t selling that’s why yall rlly mad huh? Love. Light. Live. Life,” she added. “I’ll cherish these moments forever. The energy & beauty the Barbz bring with them. You’d have to rlly be there to understand the level up. We’re just getting started”
“Sneaker line out TMRW #PinkFridayFragrance selling out non stop #PinkFridayNails loved #PinkFriday2GAGCITY Record breaking tour #PinkFriday2 Platinum album #HeavyOnIt RECORD LABEL,” she asserted.
