I Parry Everything Anime Announces More Details, Premiere Date

An anime adaptation was revealed for the I Parry Everything: What Do You Mean I’m the Strongest? I’m Not Even an Adventurer Yet! light novel series back in November 2023, and now we have a date and more details. The series will premiere in Japan on July 4, 2024, so check out the new key visual below and read on for more cast members, staff and theme song information.

Here’s a recent trailer:

New cast members, pictured below, include Ayumu Murase as Rolo and Shunsuke Takeuchi as Gilbert.

The opening theme will be “AMBITION” by Anna Suzuki as Maika Sakuragi, and the ending theme will be “No Gifted” by The Utahime Dream All Stars with members Ibuki Yumesaki (VA: Rena Yamasaki), Maika Sakuragi (Anna Suzuki), Kiyomi Masahiro (Arisa Sonohara), HiREN (Kaya), Hikari Mizutsuki (Carin Isobe), Rin Takagi (Tomomi Jiena Sumi), and Himawari Hagiwara (Reo Kurachi).

Among the newly announced staff members are art director Mikihiro Harabe, sub-character designer Toshiaki Ohashi, monster designer Hiroyasu Oda (studio Mogana), color designer Nanako Okazaki sound director Ryo Tanaka and editor Go Sadamatsu.

The novel series by Nabeshiki first started on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website in October 2019, and Kawaguchi provides illustrations for the print edition.

J-Novel Club publishes the light novels and the manga adaptation, summing up the story like so:

The Kingdom of Clays faces a conflict that will shape the face of the continent for centuries to come…but Noor doesn’t have a clue about any of that! Having freshly arrived at the royal capital after over a decade of rigorous, isolated training at his mountain home, he’s dead set on achieving his childhood dream of becoming an adventurer, even if the only skills he possesses are useless ones.
