‘Mecha-ude’ Unveils Additional Cast

The official website of the Mecha-ude (TV) (Mechanical Arms) original anime unveiled additional cast members and a second key visual (pictured) on Monday. The anime is scheduled to premiere in October 2024.

Sae Okamoto is directing the anime at TriF Studio. Yasuhiro Nakanishi (Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai: Tensai-tachi no Renai Zunousen) and TriF are in charge of the series composition. Terumi Nishii (JoJo no Kimyou na Bouken Part 4: Diamond wa Kudakenai) and Youko Uchida (Rurouni Kenshin: Meiji Kenkaku Romantan (2023)) are designing the characters. Kohta Yamamoto (86), DAIKI (AWSM.), and Hiroyuki Sawano (Guilty Crown) are composing the music.

The anime project by Okamoto began as a short promotional video through crowdfunding in October 2016. The campaign ended successfully, greenlighting an original net anime in September 2018.

A manga adaptation by Yoshino Koyoka (Hidan no Aria) began serialization on the LINE Manga and eBookJapan platforms in September 2022.
