TNT Sports announced Tuesday it signed a 10-year deal with the French Tennis Federation to broadcast the French Open at Roland-Garros starting in 2025.
“TNT Sports is thrilled to partner with the French Tennis Federation and exclusively present unprecedented coverage of Roland-Garros—one of the most prestigious sports events every year—across our full array of platforms,” TNT Sports chairman and CEO Luis Silberwasser said.
“Roland-Garros perfectly aligns with our global sports strategy and our commitment to adding premium live sports content to our TNT Sports portfolio. We look forward to serving fans with a best-in-class content experience and providing them with direct access to more live Roland-Garros coverage than ever before.”
As part of the deal, French Open matches will be broadcast live on TNT as well as TBS and truTV. Action across the entire tournament will also stream live on Max, while truTV will feature whiparound coverage and studio analysis.
“We’re very proud to sign this agreement with Warner Bros. Discovery, one of the world’s leading media groups,” French Tennis Federation president Gilles Moretton said. “It will enable the Federation to ensure maximum exposure for Roland-Garros in the USA and help further promote the tournament. With this long-term agreement, we aim to win over new fans in this key territory for the FFT.”
The 2024 French Open just concluded in Paris.
On the men’s side, Carlos Alcaraz earned his first title in Roland-Garros, putting the 21-year-old only one Australian Open triumph away from completing a career Grand Slam already. Iga ÅšwiÄ…tek, meanwhile, continued her dominance on the women’s side. She’s now a four-time winner at the French Open, including reeling off three straight.
