Post Malone shares a new single, ‘Pour Me a Drink’ featuring Blake Shelton, from his debut country album, ‘F-1 Trillion,’ set to release on August 16.Beyonce isn’t the only one going full country. Today, Post Malone shared his newest single, a country track called “Pour Me a Drink,” featuring Blake Shelton. The two recently collaborated at CMA Fest where they debuted the song, the performance of which will air as part of the CMA Fest special on ABC, June 25. The song is part of Post’s debut country album, F-1 Trillion, which drops on August 16.
Meanwhile, the “Sunflower” singer’s record-breaking hit, “I Had Some Help” with Morgan Wallen, continues to dominate the charts — as well as the conversation. The track crash landed at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, accruing the “highest weekly sales and streams since 2020.”That song became Malone’s sixth No. 1 and Wallen’s second, holding the top spot for five consecutive weeks and emerging as the “longest running number one song of 2024.” Further, the track became the first single to debut at No. 1 on both the Billboard Hot 100 and Hot Country Songs chart, holding the top position on each chart for three weeks.
“I Had Some Help” arrived on the heels of the pair’s landmark sets at Stagecoach Festival 2024, where Post played his first set at the festival with a lineup of country covers and welcomed guests like Brad Paisley, Sara Evans, and Dwight Yoakam. Post then joined Wallen on stage for the live debut of “I Had Some Help” in front of the sold-out crowd.
As of 2023, Post Malone’s catalog comprises hits “rockstar” featuring 21 Savage, “Sunflower” featuring Swae Lee, “I Fall Apart,” “Psycho” featuring Ty Dolla $ign, “White Iverson,” and “Better Now.” He has sold out numerous arena tours and hosted his own “Posty Fest” in 2018 and 2019. With his official foray into country music, Post Malone shows no signs of stopping.
