Whew! Donald Trump Attacks George Clooney After He Calls For Biden To Step Down From Presidential Race

Donald Trump is coming for George Clooney after the actor called for President Joe Biden to withdraw from the presidential race.

Vanity Fair reports the former president called the 63-year-old a “fake movie actor” and a “rat.”

George Clooney Requests For Joe Biden To Step Down
Trump’s criticism of Clooney follows the actor’s op-ed in the New York Times, “I Love Joe Biden. But We Need A New Nominee.” In it, he described Joe as a “hero.” However, George noted a stark decline in his health.

Clooney has hosted several fundraising events for Biden. In the write-up, he said that Joe wasn’t the ‘big F-king deal’ Biden of 2010″ or “even the Joe Biden in 2020. He was the same man we all witnessed at the debate.” George said Joe’s age simply makes him unfit, and if the Democrats want a chance at winning, he should step aside. The actor added, “This isn’t only my opinion; this is the opinion of every senator and Congress member and governor that I’ve spoken with in private.”

You would think Trump would be happy about any criticism thrown Biden’s way. However, the 78-year-old wasn’t feeling George’s call for Joe to bow out. Vanity Fair reports that it is likely because he surged ahead of the commander-in-chief after the first presidential debate.  A new opponent may mean stiffer competition. Donald took to Truth Social and roasted Clooney and his career, stating, “So now fake movie actor George Clooney, who never came close to making a great movie, is getting in the act.”

He asked, “What does Clooney know about anything?” Furthermore, Trump put on his petty pants for the last jab, writing the actor should “get out of politics and go back to television. Movies never really worked for him!!!”

As previously reported by The Shade Room, many Democrats are calling for Biden to step down from the presidential race. However, some blue-reppin’ politicians still fully support Joe.
