Fans don’t usually agree with the doctor’s call and it’s not uncommon to hear boos when they feel a fight has been stopped prematurely.

However, everyone agreed Drew Dober should’ve been pulled out of his latest bout at UFC Denver on Saturday night.

The always-entertaining lightweight ate a spinning elbow in the final seconds of round two, and it opened up a massive cut above his right eye.

Just 88 seconds later, it was so much worse, and a time-out was called.

On this occasion, the doctor decided that Dober was in no fit state to continue and advised referee Herb Dean to wave off the fight, which he immediately did.

Loud groans greeted the decision in the arena, but fans watching at home all agreed that Dober needed to be pulled out of the fight due to the severity of his cut.
