‘7 Days To Die’ Sets New Target Release Date For Xbox Series X|S

We could be playing it next week!

You may remember that back in April, it was announced that 7 Days to Die would be coming to Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S – and in the process, the outdated Xbox One version would be getting delisted entirely.

Well, we’re almost ready for the 1.0 launch! As things stand, 7 Days to Die has a release date of July 25th, 2024 for Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S. That date will be made official as long as the game passes certification with Microsoft and Sony (the latter for the PlayStation 5 release).

As we mentioned a few months ago, 7 Days to Die for Xbox Series X|S will not be a free update / upgrade for the Xbox One version. Instead, it’ll act as a significant overhaul compared to that version, achieving “unity” with the PC release for the first time. Previously, 7 Days To Die was significantly worse on Xbox compared to PC.

You can check out some of the new features in the game’s 1.0 release up above, and the good news is that if you did buy 7 Days To Die for Xbox One (digitally), some kind of discount will be made available around launch. Obviously we’ll need to wait until the release date is made completely official before we get more details on that.
