It remains to be seen whether Real turn their interest into a formal offer for Alexander Arnold, who graduated from Liverpool’s academy.

Meanwhile it is unclear if Liverpool would entertain a move for the versatile right-back.

As it stands, there has currently been no talk over the player penning fresh terms at his boyhood club.

The midfielder signed for Los Blancos last year from Borussia Dortmund and won a LaLiga and Champions League double in his debut campaign, becoming a key player.

Jurgen Klopp’s departure at Liverpool could signal an exodus at Anfield, with key players Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah also seeing their contracts expire in June 2025.

Real Madrid, meanwhile, have been sweeping up superstars in recent years in the transfer market.
