Maren Morris sees no reason to skirt around this moment. The singer took to TikTok to playfully acknowledge a now-viral wardrobe malfunction that happened while she was performing at Willie Nelson’s Fourth of July Picnic concert in New Jersey. In widely circulated footage, a high slit in Morris’s denim skirt lifts to reveal what many online are convinced is proof that she was going commando. Amid discourse over whether or not she was wearing underwear, Morris posted an extremely unbothered response on social media. “I think I’ll frame the skirt,” she captioned a TikTok set to Megan Thee Stallion and Cardi B’s “WAP.” Text in the video asks if “anything weird” happened today, then quickly moves on to promote her upcoming EP, Intermission. When a commenter praised her reaction as the only “appropriate response,” Morris, who welcomed her son Hayes in 2020, replied, “Like, I’ve given birth. Nothing embarrasses me anymore 😂.”
