Emily in Paris Season 4 Trailer Shows Emily Moving On In Her Love Life
Emily in Paris Cast Teases What to Expect in Season 4!
Emilyâs time in Paris is getting steamier and more complicated.
The trailer for season four the of Emily in Paris is here, and if the two-minute preview is any indication, the question of who Lily Collinsâ titular character ends up with has no easy answer.
And with season three leaving Emily single after ending her relationship with Alfie (Lucien Laviscount) and Gabriel (Lucas Bravo) seemingly off the market after itâs revealed his ex Cami (Camille Razat) is pregnant, the world looks to be Emilyâs oyster.
âOh my god, Mindy,â Emily says to her BFF (played by Ashley Park), who is seemingly in the shower, in the trailerâs opening sequence. âDo you know what I saw on my run? Hot men. Everywhere. I guess Iâve just been so focused on Gabriel and Alfie, that I forgot what it feels like to be single.â
And when she adds, âAnd now that Iâm not with either of themââ the shower curtain opens to reveal itâs been Gabriel listening the whole time. He then hopefully asks, âYouâre not with Alfie?â
But despite Mindy pointing out that the path to being with Gabriel seems clear for the first time, Emily reminds her he is, âThe man who is having a baby with the woman who is in love with another woman. And Iâm the only one who knows about it.â
Because everything is not so simple as it seems.
As the rest of the trailer shows, the fourth installment of Emily in Paris sees her and Alfieâs breakup go viral, complicating Emilyâs work life, her professional and personal relationship with Julian (Samuel Arnold) grow more strained and confrontations between herself, Gabriel and Cami.
In fact in one particularly heated moment, when the chef tells Emily he is âso sick of the secrets,â she yells back, âSo am I.â
So instead, Emily decides to open herself up to the opportunities, telling Mindy, âMaybe Iâm someone whoâs ready for new experiences.â
Embracing the unknown is not always an easy path though, as her boss Sylvie (Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu) says, âIâve been living in the gray area all my life. I didnât picture you embracing it.â
But while she tells Sylvie sheâs trying, the American expat is struggling to leave her past behind. âI really thought I could move on from them,â Emily can be heard saying. âBut they both mean so much to me for different reasons.â
Yet, perhaps season four will finally bring Emilyâs forever love triangle to a close. After all, the trailer ends with a tease of a masquerade ball, where Emily sees both Lucien and Gabriel waiting for her, before setting her sights on one of the twoâor perhaps a new romantic optionÂâwith a smile that looks like sheâs finally made a decision.
