Medical suspensions: Mike Perry out 60 days after damage taken from Jake Paul

Mike Perry is among five boxers facing medical suspensions as result of their boxing matches Saturday in Tampa, Fla.

The Florida Athletic Commission (FAC) released a full list of suspensions acquired by MMA Junkie on Thursday that included Perry, who lost to Jake Paul by TKO in the sixth round of a scheduled eight-round cruiserweight boxing match. Perry was suspended 60 days.

Perry absorbed a barrage of punches and was knocked down by Paul midway through Round 6. The referee reached an eight count before Perry got up. When the referee told Perry to walk to the right, Perry stumbled and the fight was waved off.

Check out a full list of medical suspensions below. The FAC did not release injury specifics, but just the duration of each suspension. It’s important to note fighters can typically return to competition prior to the conclusion of their suspensions should they be cleared by a physician.
