Image: CapcomCapcom legend Hideaki Itsuno, known for his work on series like Dragon’s Dogma and Devil May Cry over the years, has announced he’s left the Japanese developer and publisher after “30 years and 5 months”.

In his announcement on social media, he thanked fans for their long-term support and noted how this wouldn’t actually be the end of his career. As of September, he’s beginning work on a “new game” in a “new environment”.

“I hope to create fun, beautiful games that are as memorable as, or even more memorable than, the ones I have created so far. Please stay tuned for my next creation.”
