Megan Thee Stallion confirmed the deluxe edition of her self-titled third studio album on Monday (Sept. 2), and she wants Flo Milli on it.
Leading up to the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards, the Grammy Award-winning musician answered questions on Twitter from fans, one of which asked, “If you could get anyone on the deluxe, who would it be?” She responded with a GIF from Flo Milli’s “In The Party” video.
Shortly after, the Alabama rapper quote-tweeted the post with, “Real hot girl s**t. Stay tuned!” Though a release date for MEGAN (Deluxe) has yet to be announced, it’s very possible it could drop by the end of 2024.
Megan and Flo Milli previously joined forces for the remix of Latto’s “Sunday Service” in June. The trio also came together for the visual effort, which was shot backstage during one of the “Hot Girl Summer Tour” stops.
The “Savage” hitmaker also spoke about meeting Flo Milli during her sit-down with Shannon Sharpe for the “Club Shay Shay” podcast. She explained, “I didn’t think she was going to be my height ‘cause usually everybody’s tiny, but Flo [is] tall and thick like me. I said, ‘What’s up, friend?’ We’re all leveled. She’s so talented. I was so happy to meet her.”
Megan released the 18-track MEGAN album toward the tail end of June. In addition to “Cobra” and the chart-topping “HISS,” guest appearances included Victoria Monét, GloRilla, UGK, Yuki Chiba, Big K.R.I.T. and Kyle Ricch, among others. “BOA” is currently up for four awards at the VMAs — slated to take place on Sept. 11 — while “Mamushi” peaked at No. 36 on the Billboard Hot 100 in August.
Megan’s first single since the full-length project will be dropping on Friday (Sept. 6). She announced “Neva Play” featuring BTS member RM on Sept. 1.
