Watch: No. 16 Oklahoma State escapes upset bid from Arkansas in 2OT
On an afternoon that nearly saw as many as five Top 25 teams fall to unranked opponents, one of them escaped in the wildest of ways after exchanging blows throughout the fourth quarter.
No. 16 Oklahoma State took a 31-28 lead with seconds remaining on a go-ahead field goal against SEC foe Arkansas on Saturday.
But the Razorbacks found a way to charge down the field and kick a game-tying field goal of their own with just two seconds to play.
The game went to overtime where both teams astonishingly missed-field goal attempts within the 25-yard line.
For a time, it appeared as if neither team wanted to win. But Oklahoma State running back Ollie Gordon II broke the deadlock in double overtime, finding the end zone with a 12-yard run, then converting the required two-point conversion to put the Cowboys up 39-31.
