Laura Woods announces engagement to Adam Collard in heartwarming post
Laura Woods has announced she’s getting engaged to partner Adam Collard.
The former talkSPORT host, who is also due to have a baby with her fiancee, made the announcement in a heartwarming post on Instagram on Monday.

“Thank you @carbisbayestate – the place we fell in love and now the place we got engaged, you made it so special. What a summer x.”
Along with the video were a series of heartwarming pictures of Woods and Collard celebrating their engagement.

She was on TV screens at Euro 2024, working for ITV, while also working for Eurosport’s Olympics coverage in August.
Collard came to fame by appearing on series four of Love Island, which aired in 2018 and was won by Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham.
The 27-year-old admitted that he was the one who reached out to Woods on Instagram.
“I’d followed her on Instagram because I’d seen a Lionesses game or something like that and then I DMd her because she put like a funny meme on her story,” he said.
“I will hold my hands up, yes I acknowledge that even though she’s had my life about this a lot of times.”
Woodsy was a staple of talkSPORT’s excellent presenting team, and shared the responsibility of fronting the Breakfast Show with Alan Brazil and Ally McCoist for three years before leaving in 2023.

The former Scotland international wrote underneath her Instagram post: “Best ever. We’re so happy for you guys,” along with clapping emojis.
He then followed up with “Any chance of lunch and a swally (alcoholic drink)?” Woodsy replied to say yes, but it would be orange juice instead for her, referencing her pregnancy.
Other former talkSPORT colleagues also sent their best, including Adrian Durham, Shebahn Aherne and Jamie O’Hara, whom she loved to torment over their Tottenham and Arsenal allegiances.
