Player Summary:

Traeshon Holden is a true senior transfer from the Central Florida area. He played 2 seasons at (ALUN) before transferring to (ORUN) in 2023. Holden has prototypical height, long rangy limbs, with solid BMI for the wide receiver position. He has adequate foot quickness, good short burst off the LOS, with a strong ability to run short to immediate route concepts. He’s a long strider in the open field, not a true speedster but a good enough acceleration to outrun the defense to get major YAC. Average route runner that sometimes loses his smoothest and route-running integrity that can cause him struggles to create consistent separation at the top of the route. Physical, can be a red zone and jump ball threat due his imposing stature and long rangy frame. He’s also a willing blocker, able to keep his hands inside, extend, and drive to help you downfield in the pass and run game. Okay to solid hands. Shows flashes of having the ability to be a snatcher of the football but on too many occasions lets the ball into his body or chooses to be a body catcher. Not super elusive but a freight train in the screen game with ability to break tackles and fight for yards running north and south always falling forward. Good football IQ. Has played in 2 complex systems at a high-level, showing the ability to learn quickly and work his way into the rotation no matter where he’s selected.
