Dallas Cowboys vs. New York Giants Week 4 Odds, Time, and Prediction

Even though the Week 4 TNF game is taking place at MetLife Stadium, the Dallas Cowboys are still favored to win. The reason is that they’ve got a very good record against the Giants in away games. They won their last three duels at that stadium, with their most recent game resulting in a blowout 40:0 win. Are we going to see something similar happen this coming Thursday?

Dallas Cowboys Desperate for a Win
Despite starting the 2024 NFL season with a big 33:17 win over the Cleveland Browns on the road, the Dallas Cowboys haven’t done much since. In Week 2, they lost 44:19 to the New Orleans Saints, while in Week 3, the Baltimore Ravens beat them 28:25.

They did well offensively in that game, with quarterback Dak Prescott throwing for two touchdowns and 379 yards, as well as scoring one rushing TD. The reason they lost the game is that their defense couldn’t handle the amazing ground game of the Baltimore Ravens, who ended up scoring three rushing TDs.

Should this worry the Cowboys ahead of their trip to MetLife Stadium? Not really. Sure, the Giants have Devin Singletary as one of their running backs, but he just isn’t at the same level as Baltimore’s Derrick Henry. Nevertheless, the Giants do have plenty of offensive weapons in their arsenal.

NY Giants Looking for Another Win
After losing their first two games of the season (to the Minnesota Vikings and the Washington Commanders), the New York City Giants got their first win of the season last Sunday. They defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers 21:15 on the road.

The Giants’ QB Daniel Jones had a fine game, going 24-for-34 for 236 yards and two touchdowns, with no interceptions. Both of the TDs he produced were caught by Malik Nabers. The third NY touchdown of the game was the work of running back Devin Singletary.

They did well offensively, but it’s their defense that basically won the game for them. In the end, the Browns scored two passing TDs, but that just wasn’t enough.

Dallas Cowboys vs. New York Giants Prediction
We just have to go with the Dallas Cowboys to win the TNF game of Week 4. Not only are they a much better team than the New Giants, but after two straight losses, they’re desperate to get a win. The Giants are stronger now than when they lost 40:0 to the Cowboys last season, but we do think they’re going to lose again. In fact, we think the Cowboys are going to cover the spread once again.

Pick: Dallas Cowboys (-4.5)
