Anne Hathaway Just Revealed Every Beauty Product She Swears By

Anne Hathaway just shared every single beauty product in her daily routine—and I am not exaggerating. More important, it was for a good cause: The Idea of You star wants to make sure you’re registered to vote.

As for how these two things are connected? It was all a part of Hathaway’s brilliant plan: In a “What’s In My Bag?” video, Hathaway showed off all the items in her trendy fanny pack while conveying an important message to fans: The general U.S. election is in just 40 days.

After showing off some unsexy products like anti-nausea smelling salt, bandaids, and antibiotic ointment, Hathaway stumbled upon a stickie note she left herself as a reminder about the upcoming election. “I write myself these notes because this is a very unusual election cycle,” she explained. “Normally when your candidate declares, you…in America, you have like two years.” Instead, we have “40 days until the election,” she pointed out.

Thus, Hathaway wants to make sure that everyone is adequately prepared. “Today, I wanna make sure I’m registered to vote,” she continued. “What are you gonna do? Hit me up in the comments and tell me what you’re gonna do to prepare for the election in the next 40 days.”

Once she got her point across, she continued rifling through her bag, and revealed at least 12 beauty products (I literally had to take notes). For eyes, Hathaway uses Tarte Opening Act Lash Primer, Shu Uemera Eyelash Curler, Clinique High Impact Shadow Play Shadow + Definer, and Chanel’s Intense Eye Pencil.

On her lashes? The Glamour Beauty Award-Winning Jillian Dempsey FLYK Trick Mascara. For the rest of the face, she uses Westman Atelier’s Baby Cheeks Lip + Cheek Cream Blush Stick in Petal and Concealer as well as Charlotte Tilbury’s cult-favorite Lip Cheat Lip Liner.

In terms of skin care, Hathaway uses the refreshingly affordable Actinica Sun Protection Lotion for SPF (which we know is a passion of hers), Shiseido Vital Perfection LiftDefine Radiance Sheet Masks, and By Terry Baume De Rose as a hydrating lip balm.

Speaking of pouts, if you’re wondering about her iconic red lip, know that it actually required a bit of beauty sleuthing. While Hathaway said “I needed a red lip today” while reapplying it in the video, she didn’t specify which lip it was. Fortunately, one eagle-eyed follower somehow knew it was Westman Atelier, tagged their account, and and asked which shade Hathaway had on.
