UFC women’s bantamweight contender frighteningly shakes uncontrollably on the scales as she misses weight for UFC Paris clash

Ahead of the third-ever UFC event in Paris, this coming Saturday, the 28 fighters took to the scale this Friday morning to make their bouts official.

One of which was Ailin Perez, who is currently riding an impressive three-fight win streak in the women’s bantamweight division, and is knocking on the door of the top 10 of the division.

Before being offered a fight against Darya Zheleznyakova, Perez was pushing for a potential fight against Kayla Harrison, as Harrison waits for the culmination of the upcoming title fight between Raquel Pennington and Julianna Pena.

Ahead of Merab Dvalishvili’s UFC 306 title fight, a video surfaced online of him and Perez dancing backstage, having a lot of fun, to say the least.

Unfortunately for Perez, though, this Friday morning’s weigh-ins were no laughing matter as she stepped up to the scales in a seemingly brutal condition as she began shaking uncontrollably.

After emotionally stepping on the scales, the commissioner announced that she was overweight by half a pound, however, Perez didn’t seem too concerned with missing weight, she seemed more focused on staying upright and on her feet.

The most concerning part is that once Perez had weighed in, she attempted to walk off the stage, and looked in a frightening condition as she continued to shake uncontrollably.

“Why is this not canceled,” one fan asked on X.

Another fan commented: “I’m beyond shocked weight cutting hasn’t killed any fighters yet. Perez is by far the worst one I’ve seen. Call the fight and get her to the doctor ASAP.”

The 29-year-old will undoubtedly be monitored over the next few hours to see if her state improves, however, at this point, the fight is still scheduled to go ahead. Perez will forfeit 20% of her fight purse to her opponent, Zheleznyakova.

This is the first time in her career that Perez has missed weight, and her UFC debut came at featherweight, but following the removal of that weight class, she was forced to compete at 135lbs going forward.
