“Dey whine una self”

Super Eagles striker Victor Boniface has stated that he is not interested in leaving European Football for any league that would offer him a bigger pay, Soccernet.ng reports.

In the past two years there has been a massive exodus of top players in Europe to the Saudi Pro League. They have been able to pull this off by offering big moneys to these players.

The reason for this is to make their league a top one. And of course, with stars like Cristiano Ronaldo, Sadio Mane, Riyad Mahrez, and many more, the Saudi Pro League has creeped into the consciousness of many football fans.

Nigerian players have not been left out of the party too, as William Troost-Ekong, Henry Onyekuru, Odion Ighalo, and a few others currently ply their trades in Saudi Arabia. Al Ahli even tried to lure Victor Osimhen with a bumper package in the summer, but he snubbed them.

Victor Boniface has also caught the eyes with scintillating performances for Bayer Leverkusen for the past two seasons, and he may be on their radar. However, the 23-year-old hitman has insisted that he will not make any move that will be motivated by money.

“No not now, I’m not thinking about that (a move to Saudi Arabia). My career in Europe is already a lot of cash. When the time for big money comes, we’ll think about it. Make una dey whine una self,” Boniface told Sporty TV.

Due to his impress performances for Bayer Leverkusen, Boniface has been linked with some big clubs in Europe. If he continues to perform at his current level, he could be on his way to a bigger club next summer.
