Chapter 1, Act 8: Hidden Between the Waves, is a pivotal quest in Wuthering Waves. This mission advances the main storyline. The quest involves restoring Anchors at three crucial locations: Haven of Sprouts, Eye of Asteria, and TD Observatory. At each site, defeat abnormal Tacet Discords and clear corrupted data to restore balance.

Here’s a step-by-step guide to completing Chapter 1, Act 8, Hidden Between the Waves quest in Wuthering Waves.

1. Starting The Quest

Start by navigating through the cave, finding an exit, and emerging on the other side. Then, make your way to the Black Shores headquarters to locate a data-upload robot.

Activate the beacon and consult with Aalto if needed. Search for Monica and contact others at the beacon. Optionally, converse with Aalto again.

Proceed to the Greenhouse’s highest point, enter, and investigate the piano. Leave and head to the Haven of Sprouts.

2. Restoring the Anchor at the Haven of Sprouts

At the Haven of Sprouts, restore the Anchor by completing the following steps:

Talk to KU-Key

Halt corrupted data spread

Clear corrupted data along the way

Talk to the Tethys Terminal KU-Key to regain clearance

3. Restoring the Anchor at the Eye of Asteria

Next, head to the Eye of Asteria and restore its Anchor:

Reach the anchor’s top

Defeat abnormal Tacet Discords

Clear the corrupted core

4. Restoring the Anchor at the TD Observatory

Continue to the TD Observatory, then the Data Hub, defeating abnormal Tacet Discords. Locate the observatory keeper and restore the TD Observatory’s Anchor:

Head to the anchor

Defeat abnormal Tacet Discords

Gain clearance with the Tethys Terminal KU-Key

Reach the anchor’s top

Defeat abnormal Tacet Discords

Clear the corrupted core

Conclude the quest by speaking with Aalto.
