As a franchise crossover, Harry Potter has a great mix of fun builds that are meant to be played with and sets that are specifically meant to be displayed. Both of these types of sets are currently on sale on Amazon right now.
The most notable deal from this LEGO sale is the Hogwarts Castle and Grounds set, which is now down to the same low price it was on Prime Day earlier this year. If you’re hoping to pick up a gift for the Harry Potter fan in your life, this sale makes it a great time to do so.

We got the chance to build the Harry Potter Sorting Hat set as well and deemed it a worthy addition to any fan’s collection. Should You Wait for October Prime Day or Black Friday to Buy?Although it’s true that October Prime Day is happening next week, we’ve found so far in 2024 that the best time to buy LEGO sets is whenever the discounts drop to their lowest prices. It’s certainly possible that the price cuts on these particular Harry Potter sets could drop lower when Amazon’s sale kicks off next week, but it likely wouldn’t be by much more. Some of these discounts are the first ones we’ve seen, so it’s a great time to snap them up while you can.
As for waiting for Black Friday 2024, it’s hard to say. We will likely see similar prices as we are seeing right now. It’s also worth noting that none of the sets we’ve featured here are set to expire in 2024, so you should be able to wait without worrying about missing out completely on your chance to buy.
