âI have been an avid reader since I was a child. I also like to play games and read the news. I can do all of that on the Fire with great picture quality. I love that the touch screen never fails me. But the best thing about it is I can adjust the size of everything, even apps, if they are set right, which most are. I am visually impaired, so this is important. I searched for the right device years ago and have stuck to it. Even my kids and grandkids love their Kindles. This week I bought a new kindle fire 8 to replace the old one that I gave to my sister. But the text on my books would not enlarge like I was used to. I called customer service disabled and talked to Mike. He was helpful and showed me the hidden control for enlarging text. âGot this for the wife. She had a different tablet for a long time, and it finally died. I picked this one up for her, and all her books transferred over that she had on the other tablet. But with this one, she has access to a book club that is free and gets a lot more books to read. She likes this tablet as much as she likes the other. I recommend this tablet. Itâs a great value at this price and stores a lot of books. You can play games, check email, and peruse the internet, all using Wi-Fi.
