TCG Card Shop Simulator Roadmap – Enjoy the Journey

TCG Card Shop Simulator Roadmap is here and we have the details, plus some of our own ideas as the game moves through early access.

TCG Card Shop Simulator has come out the blue as another in the long line of mundane shop worker simulator games. This time, however, it’s something most Gamers have even considered at some point.

TCG Card Shop Simulator Roadmap
Can sell old shelf

I think something anyone can agree on would be a big help, while I suspect it will be fairly slow, it might be good to help with the early rush each day.

Good news everyone! This is our first roadmap feature that we can strike off the list as it’s now live in the game.

Customer review app

We assume this means customers leaving reviews, something we found frustrating in our playtime was that we got notes about “dissatisfied” but no idea what they were not happy about.

The next feature that we now know is coming to the game is the card shop review app. Customers will leave you reviews and feedback. This is currently in alpha branch testing but we suspect it will come out fairly soon to the main client.

Customer trade cards

A great idea, and would really help flesh out the single-card-selling aspect of the game

Organize tournament

An interesting feature in the game is the events, but they feel very “leave them be” right now unless you want to hyper-focus on a specific area of the game.

Random events may occur

RNG is always welcome in a game like this, it depends on how it is implemented but it could be good. Maybe a power cut could happen, or a rival store hosts a tournament so you lose your in-store players for the day.

Don’t forget to check out our card rarity guide before you get too deep into this roadmap.

More shop product types

More stuff to buy and improve is good. TCG Shops these days sell all sorts of things, maybe we could see the store expanded into selling “miniatures” like Warhammer style but that might bring us too far in the other direction. Possibly board games etc.

More shelf & table types

A welcome thing to hear, and something that people will love. If we combine this with shop decorations it would help make the shop feel more unique.

More TCG types

I think the current “it’s a Pokemon shop” vibe is great, but the reality is most TCG stores sell Magic, Star Wars, etc as well. So we’d welcome this. Potentially we could get store promotions as well and have say the “Star Wars” game has a new release and you get a discount on stock etc.

Playable TCG

A pretty big leap for the game, but if nailed it could add a new dynamic for the game. Certainly a feature to watch, but one I’d be cautious that it doesn’t take away from what makes the game so fun right now.

Shop decoration

Always nice to make your shop feel more like your own.

Grading card

Could be a very interesting idea if done well, and even selling graded cards would be a delightful edition.

Difficulty mode

A good way to add to the replayability as new features are added to the game. The game isn’t really hard, so this tied in with the random events might add a layer of complication to the game.

Other Plans
We don’t have too much info just yet, though some early access info has given us some clues. We know a rubbish bin is being added soon, alongside a change to the Auto Scent G500 which will not clean customers in 1 spray, not 2. Really this just means we don’t need to have a weird spray maze as customers enter the shop.

Outside of this… well we’ll find out, but early signs are the roadmap features are coming down the pipeline fairly quickly and also in the order that we have listed above.
